Hello lovelies! Many years ago, amidst the humble beginnings of Soiree, we had a studio blog that was updated pretty regularly (in fact, I bet if you hit Google for a few keywords you’d probably find that old blog site!). In the beginning, it was almost solely inspiration-based, featuring real weddings, photos that inspired us, and maybe a design board or two sprinkled in. But several years in, we decided the blog wasn’t serving us anymore- either through the content we wanted to feature or the fulfillment we (I) got out of it. But even with that decision, there was still an inkling of a vision for something more.
Fast forward several years (we’re on our 14th season- how fitting is this photo!), and now we finally feel like we’re on the right track to what we want this newly designed studio blog to portray. Our own weddings and events have evolved from simple checklists and timelines to full-on designed experiences, engaging all of the senses- with design inspiration pulled from lifestyles, culture, travel, interiors and more- so to say they are much more complex, layered, and just lovely (in our biased opinion), is an understatement.

So that is, in a nutshell, of what to expect from this space going forward. Still focused on inspiration, but in a layered way. In addition, I’ve felt it on my heart for a few seasons now, as we’ve shifted to exclusively full planning + design services, to find a platform to extend valuable content to everyone, whether they were working with us or not.
I hope this blog serves as an amazing source of inspiration, valuable tips to reference, and just a space for creating something beautiful- whether that be a party, a wedding, or a lifestyle. I’d also like to know- what do you want to see in this space? We’d love your feedback! Cheers, friends!
